CoGen Marketing
Helping you build PREFERENCE, AWARENESS and LOYALTY for your products, services and company.

Marketing is a repeatable process based on product life-cycle.  Doing the right things in the right order will maximize the business results.  That's big.  Not following a repeatable process when developing, introducing and maintaining products leads to chaos and quite often failure.  The process of marketing is made up of two distinct elements:  in-bound marketing and outbound marketing.

In-bound marketing engages in defining the customer problem and the value a new product must bring to the customer.  This means simplifying what customers are saying to create a concise integrated problem statement.  This is a "market" problem statement, not a customer-specific problem statement.  And a clear "market" solution that addresses the "market" problem statement.

This problem/solution set progresses into a business case for management approval.  If the new product is approved, many marketing activities must be completed to prepare for introduction.  One of the key deliverables from these activities is the messaging for the new product.  Creating simple powerful messaging that resonates with customers, and messaging that customers remember, is the cornerstone of almost all other marketing deliverables.

"High marks go to Ted Turner, President of CoGen Marketing Inc.  Ted taught the session on Marketing for High Tech to my Entrepreneurial Seminar Series and crystallized marketing’s role in creating Preference, Awareness and Loyalty for products and services.  I strongly recommend Ted for his interactive style that engages the audience, and for the way Ted makes marketing “actionable” for everyone regardless of their business focus or background.   Attendee responses overwhelmingly rated Ted’s seminar “Excellent.”   I look forward to working with CoGen Marketing Inc. again."

New product introduction must be carefully planned and managed to ensure success.  If the product is poorly introduced, it is difficult to build momentum.  If the product is properly introduced, the momentum carries into market adoption.

Once the new product is adopted by the marketplace, active marketing is required to keep products shipping and customer satisfaction maximized.

Outbound marketing brings all in-bound marketing results in front of the customer in the most professional and persuasive ways possible.

The Process of Marketing
Marketing is a process made up of many small processes.  The objective is to bring new products to market that customers will truly buy.  CoGen Marketing applies "marketing as a process" to help your company excel in bringing new products to market and getting the most out of your current products.
